How many compartments for your meal tray?
Three compartments are enough for a main dish and two sides, or a simple bento. Four compartments allow for a starter, main, side and dessert. Five compartments hold a full meal with cheese, bread or condiment: it is the most common format for corporate lunch trays.

With or without a lid?
For delivery and stacking, the lid is essential: it protects the meal and allows trays to be stacked in a vehicle or refrigerator. The clear PET lid lets you see the meal, while the fibre lid keeps the whole thing plastic-free. Lids are sold separately: check the compatible reference shown on the product page.
Bagasse or cardboard: which material?
Bagasse is the sugarcane fibre left over after sugar extraction. Bionic trays are stated to be suitable for food contact, and the range is suited to cold or hot food according to the product page of the 3-compartment model. Cardboard, at 450 g/m² in the Parole range, is used for transport trays designed to carry cups and snacks.

Is the lid supplied?

Do the trays withstand hot dishes?
